Responsibilities
Completes tasks and assignments related to administrative support functions
Checks in patients
Receives and directs telephone calls
Provides information to patients about the health department services
Performs data entry, record-keeping, and makes appointments, etc
Provides clerical support within assigned functional areas
Receives additional training to gain full proficiency and experience in all areas, as required
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED
Ability to perform basic office functions and computer related duties
All positions require criminal history record check
Required education credentials, license, certification and/or registration must be submitted prior to employment in the position
Some positions require pre-employment drug testing in which the applicant who is offered the position will be required to successfully complete
