The Quality Control Inspector II is responsible for inspecting, receiving, and reviewing human and porcine tissue within a regulated quality environment, supporting various quality operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Perform tissue receiving, inspection, and batch record review in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements
Quarantine, disposition, and process nonconforming material as required
Execute cleaning, cycle counting, and media change activities per established procedures
Support Exception Reports (ERs), CAPAs, Supplier ERs, LIRs, and Change Controls (ECOs)
Track issues, update metrics, and assist with data trending and reporting
Support audit readiness activities and serve as a quality SME when needed
Assist with documentation updates and change control activities
Partner cross-functionally to resolve quality issues and ensure accurate documentation
Maintain 5S standards and ensure area readiness and supply availability
Participate in quality huddles, team meetings, and project initiatives
Complete all required training on time
Contribute to Lean Six Sigma / continuous improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
Quality mindset with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Ability to work in lab, warehouse, and manufacturing environments
Comfortable handling human and porcine tissue, including cadaveric materials
Willingness to work extended hours, overtime, and adjusted schedules as needed
Ability to stand for 8–12 hours/day and lift 50 lbs
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Computer savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions under time constraints
Self-motivated, accountable, adaptable, and eager to learn
Preferred
Quality inspection or quality operations experience in regulated manufacturing
SAP experience strongly preferred
TrackWise and/or Veeva Vault experience a plus
Exposure to nonconformance management, CAPAs, and change controls
Experience in tissue, medical device, biologics, or pharmaceutical environments
