Channel Sales Senior Account Manager

Transcat is a leading calibration and compliance services provider in North America, seeking a Channel Sales Senior Account Manager to ensure client success and drive growth in their Distribution, Used, and Rental businesses. The role involves supporting Manufacturer Rep firms, processing orders, and providing technical support while promoting the Transcat brand.

Responsibilities

Primarily focused on supporting our network of Manufacturer Rep firms while also driving additional revenue outside of the Rep firms for our Distribution, Used, and Rental business
Receive quote requests via email, case queue and phone, issue quotes via our quoting system
Process POs, including ensuring unit availability, place orders
Managing and working with our network of Manufacturer Reps and provide them with technical support while responding to RFQ’s. Attend customer facing events with Rep firms to promote Transcat brand
Work with our Purchasing and Vendor Management teams to ensure they are updated on product offerings and promotions
Work with Vendor support staff to determine ideal solutions to offer to customers based on their requirements
Work with the customer to understand requirements and find alternative solutions
Work with other team members and brand representatives to solve technical issues arising during rentals
May be assigned specific key accounts to develop new revenue opportunities
Attend and complete training sessions on brands and product categories
Occasional travel may be required, estimated to be less than 10% of the time
Model the Company’s values to influence others to perform in an aligned manner

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, and 10+ years of sales / customer service experience
