Clinical Informatics Specialist

Gifford is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to help improve hospital operations. This role involves defining best practice workflows and assisting in the implementation and maintenance of the Electronic Health Record, while serving as a liaison between various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Define best practice workflows
Assist in the system build, implementation, education and maintenance of the Electronic Health Record
Support end-users and management in the hospital, emergency department and clinic settings
Involved in hospital improvements and change management
Serve as a liaison between the customer and the vendor, clinicians, IT and ancillary departments
Participate in special projects as directed

Qualification

Clinical licensureHealthcare-related degreeChange managementCommunication skillsTeam collaboration

Required

Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred, or the equivalent in work experience
Clinical licensure i.e. CPhT, MA, LNA, LPN, RN preferred
