Production Control Specialist - 1st Shift
Williams International is a privately-owned company that develops and manufactures jet engines for both military and commercial aircraft applications. The Production Control Specialist will perform production control work, including reviewing MRP release requirements, managing material movement, and processing material transactions.

Responsibilities
Review MRP release requirements, i.e., Planned Shop Requisitions
Review material availability for Shop Requisitions to be released
Creates, releases, reserves, issues and receives Shop Orders (Manufacturing and Repair)
Creates, releases, reserves, picks, delivers and receives Material Transfer Requisitions
Process miscellaneous material transactions including scrap, cycle counts, adjustments, etc
Physically manages all material movement and disposition related to cell activity
Qualification
Required
High School or GED required
Minimum of 6 months experience in scheduling, computer skills, hardware management, etc
Effective interaction with team members, customers and all levels of management
Reads, understands and correctly interprets basic blueprint drawings
Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. from floor to waist
Must be capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 lbs
Must have grip strength of at least 50 lbs
U.S. citizenship is required
Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed
