Human Resources Coordinator
Ancon Services is an Industrial Service company with over fifty years of experience, seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support their HR team. The role involves administration and support of day-to-day HR functions, including benefits administration, onboarding, compliance, and employee inquiries.

Responsibilities
Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
Being responsible for maintaining accurate information in the HRIS, including status updates such as changes of address, departmental transfers, rate increases, and terminations
Supporting the complete onboarding and off boarding process
Providing support and guidance to employees and managers on company policies, procedures and programs and ensure comprehension and compliance to policies
Handling employee verification requests and employee inquiries
Completing unemployment claims and state-mandated medical withholding orders
Assisting with 401k retirement administration and annual audit
Providing support on benefits administration to include facilitating Open Enrollment meetings, processing enrollment forms and answering plan inquires
Maintaining and updating employee personnel files
Providing general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports, arranging meetings, composing regular correspondence, processing confidential reports and documents, filing electronic and hard copies, and tracking deadlines
Administering the company Wellness Program
Performing other duties as directed by the HR Manager
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Superior verbal and written communication skills and a learning mindset
Working knowledge of multi-state HR laws and practices
Proven ability to act as a role model for the organization reflecting professionalism, positivity, and team orientation
Proven Service-minded approach to delivering HR services
Must pass the pre-employment screening required of this position
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources or related field
Additional Degree/Coursework/Diploma/Certificate in Human Resources
Proficient in Spanish
6 months+ of experience in human resources roles
