Business Development Representative
The Retail Score provides critical analytics and insights for the retail industry, and they are seeking a Business Development Representative to identify lead opportunities and build client relationships. The role involves conducting outreach, nurturing client relations, and collaborating with the sales team to increase customer acquisition.
Responsibilities
Perform 80-100 activities across email, phone, and LinkedIn daily to target qualified senior managers at apparel brands
Qualify leads from various channels
Schedule 2+ meetings per week for the sales team
Sit in on client calls, take notes, and own part of the client follow up communications
Improve the BDR role by helping improve and document key processes
Constantly learn about data, and the tRS technology
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in apparel retail, wholesale, or business analytics is a must
Proficiency in market research, lead generation, and client prospecting
Use of CRM tools
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships
Sales experience combined with an understanding of business-to-business (B2B) sales and account management
Analytical thinking and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
