Responsibilities

Coordinate and assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of Food Security program to ensure that it meets the needs of patients and families
Manages day-to-day operations of food pantry and other initiatives
Assists with outreach to community partners in this work

Required

High school diploma or equivalent experience
Minimum of two (2) years progressively responsible experience in administration, customer service, health education, inventory management, or related area in a hospital/research setting
Food and Beverage Handler's Permit

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Social Work, Health Education, Public Health, or related field
Experience in community outreach, inventory management, volunteer supervision, and/or continuous improvement
Knowledge of cultural competency, health disparities, and social determinants of health
Experience with program development and subsequent coordination of resources and services
