Responsibilities

Review and analyze 20-30 purchase orders and agreements monthly to identify SBITA
Utilize specialized software and Excel to extract purchase orders and supporting documentation for review
Escalate 4-5 agreements monthly, using a checklist to identify key terms such as term duration, payment details, and software description
Examine 2-3 leases monthly, focusing on new leases and renewals
Assist in the creation and review of journal entries within the financial system

Qualification

Required

1-2+ years of experience reading and analyzing vendor agreements and contracts
Strong attention to detail to identify key terms and classify agreement types
Ability to extract and input information into the GASB checklist
Basic proficiency in Excel for database and checklist management
Knowledge in accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting

Preferred

Accounting degree or equivalent accounting experience
Experience working with purchase orders
Familiarity with ERP systems
