Responsibilities

Plan and execute vehicle level dynamic test activities per test plans developed in collaboration with key internal stakeholders and external resources
Conduct benchmarking with competitive vehicles for various vehicle attributes including efficiency, range and other EV systems
Assist in real world efficiency test analysis and collecting validation data for the modelling team
Analyze and review vehicle data from tests and customers, to find opportunities to reduce energy consumption
Be responsible for retrieving, storing and sharing of logged data from tests with different teams
Assist in diagnosis and root causing of issues observed on prototype vehicles

Required

Field(s) of study: Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited university
Proof of enrollment in current program (BS)
Plan and execute vehicle level dynamic test activities per test plans developed in collaboration with key internal stakeholders and external resources
Conduct benchmarking with competitive vehicles for various vehicle attributes including efficiency, range and other EV systems
Assist in real world efficiency test analysis and collecting validation data for the modelling team
Analyze and review vehicle data from tests and customers, to find opportunities to reduce energy consumption

Preferred

Demonstrate ability to apply first-principles engineering
Basic understanding of electric vehicles
Experience with MATLAB / Simulink
An understanding of automotive HVAC systems and thermal systems fundamentals
Passion for hands-on automotive engineering and testing
Ability to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
Self-starter, eager to learn and detail oriented
Strong organization & communication skills preferred
Canape, CANbus, or CANalyzer experience is a plus
Curious mindset, sense of ownership
