Responsibilities

Identify and document test data requirements
Create and maintain requirements traceability matrices
Coordinate with Project Managers and Business Analysts throughout the testing process to ensure correct test and defect status is relayed
Provide guidance when testers need one on one automation support, and be an evangelist for automation
Know and understand what types of automation are useful for different stages of development

Required

5 years of professional experience as a software tester, or quality assurance engineer using multiple testing tools and methods, or 5 years experience as a software developer
Experience applying digital accessibility regulations and standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) to business processes, content, tools, and/or documents, with the ability to provide specific examples of accessibility improvements made

Preferred

Extensive experience serving as a Test Lead or Automated Test Engineer, with a proven track record of designing and implementing data-driven automation frameworks
Hands-on experience developing scripted automated tests using UI tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or Katalon) and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
Expert-level knowledge of QA best practices, with specific expertise in Agile and DevOps environments
Demonstrated expertise in API testing using industry-standard tools (e.g., Insomnia or Postman) and comprehensive Load/Performance testing utilizing JMeter or similar performance modeling software
Hands-on experience with API or unit test automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, NUnit, HTTPUnit) and mocking frameworks (e.g., JMockit, EasyMock)
Proven ability to collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to map and automate complex end-to-end workflows involving multiple modules and pathways
Strong proficiency in SQL, HTML, CSS, and XML, along with experience using debugging/proxy tools like Postman
Practical experience managing work items and testing cycles within Azure DevOps or similar Agile management platforms
Professional certification such as ISTQB/ASTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL)
Experience performing digital accessibility tests using evaluation tools, manual testing, and assistive technologies to ensure compliance with regulations
