Responsibilities
Maintain overall responsibility for SPID accreditation and ensure associated security policies and controls are followed under a continuous monitoring framework
Monitor system security posture and report security concerns, risks, and new policy requirements to the Site Lead on a weekly basis
Ensure enterprise security tools and processes (including HBSS, Carbon Black, and security scanning tools) are executed on a scheduled and compliant basis
Maintain, update, and manage all GDTS SPIDs within Xacta
Develop, update, and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), ensuring findings accurately reflect current system vulnerabilities and are tracked through resolution
Brief POA&M status and remediation plans to GDTS GPMO and NGA DAO as required
Develop security test plans and support security assessments, operational assessments, and audits as required
Generate and maintain Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs) for each system SPID and coordinate, schedule, and participate in annual IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) exercises with the Government Program Office
Prepare and present security status briefings and artifacts for government reviews, including PMRs, PSRs, and ORRs
Provide weekly security status updates to the Site Lead to support recurring business and operational reviews
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of RMF, continuous monitoring, and system accreditation processes
Experience with enterprise security tools (HBSS, Carbon Black, ACAS vulnerability scanning tools)
Familiarity with Xacta, POA&M management
Ability to communicate technical security posture clearly to government stakeholders
Strong documentation, coordination, and briefing skills
