Assistant Environmental Scientist
Global Technical Talent is a staffing firm that partners with a nationally recognized, employee-owned infrastructure and environmental engineering firm. The Assistant Environmental Scientist will support the Permitting Team by assisting with environmental studies, permit applications, and compliance activities for infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
Prepare environmental permit applications to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Support site selection studies and preparation of NEPA documentation
Assist with technical reports, environmental impact statements, and environmental field studies
Coordinate with engineers, hydrologists, geologists, and biologists to synthesize data for permitting documents
Conduct environmental field surveys and assessments and collect project-related data
Utilize GIS and ArcGIS data to produce maps in accordance with industry standards
Ensure compliance with company and site health and safety policies
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related natural science discipline
Minimum 1 year of experience in a related environmental field
Strong analytical, technical writing, and problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of environmental permitting processes and regulatory compliance
Familiarity with environmental site assessment methodologies
Basic experience with GPS and ArcGIS desktop environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Valid driver's license with ability to meet company Motor Vehicle Safety Policy requirements (MVR required)
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States (no sponsorship)
