Business Development Manager - Mexico
Bettcher Industries is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand their customer base and manage key relationships. The role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and collaboration with internal teams to drive growth in the food processing and industrial markets.

Responsibilities
Expand customer base into new customer segments or adjacent markets, including new channels to market
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and channel partners. Develop programs to drive growth and accountability through the channel
Identify and evaluate opportunities for market expansion, including new geographic regions and industry segments
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support to develop convincing value propositions, marketing collateral, advertising opportunities, etc
Conduct thorough market research to identify new markets, trends, opportunities, and areas for growth within the food processing and industrial markets
Develop, execute, and oversee a strategic business development plan to achieve sales growth targets and expand Bettcher Industries' market share
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through brand recognition, lead generation and conversion, networking, and relationship building
Collaborate with the product and technical teams to create compelling proposals that address client requirements and showcase Bettcher Industries' capabilities
Lead negotiations with clients, including pricing discussions and contract terms, to successfully close deals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Proven track record of at least 3 years' experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the industrial or manufacturing sector
Strong understanding of the food processing industry and industrial markets in Mexico
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
Willingness to travel at least 50%
Track record of identifying market opportunities and putting plans in place to drive strategic business growth
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Displays a high level of critical thinking
