Responsibilities

Become a subject matter expert on PIMCO’s alternative products to effectively address client and prospect inquiries. Build strong relationships with internal partners, including Field and Internal Sales, PSG, Marketing, Legal & Compliance, becoming a trusted partner
Assist with business development efforts by helping to manage key relationships, both internally and externally
Demonstrate a strong commitment to client service by responding promptly and with urgency to both internal and external requests
Maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks while adhering to tight deadlines
Develop and implement consistent, repeatable processes to enhance confidence in analysis and operational efficiency
Use effective time management skills to ensure quality and attention to detail, ensuring that all work is completed accurately and on time
Foster a sense of teamwork, assisting others when needed or required
Maintain and enhance relationships with key vendors such as iCapital, CAIS, and +Subscribe
Query, analyze, and maintain business information reports to support internal reporting needs
Effectively utilize advanced tools including Excel (spreadsheets and macros), PowerPoint, CRM, and external databases for various special projects

Required

A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business/Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting
Current Senior Associate at PIMCO
Candidates must possess Series 7 and 63 licenses
A strong interest in alternative strategies and a demonstrable track record of success in fundraising for PIMCO's alternative products
Established and strong relationships across PIMCO's Internal and Field Sales teams
The ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, and professional environment with frequent shifts in priorities as dictated by business needs
Exceptional talent for both analyzing and communicating data using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI

Preferred

Candidates actively pursuing a CFA or CAIA designation will be given favorable consideration
2–6 years of professional experience in the investment management industry preferred
