Procurement Intern

Responsibilities
Learn about the procurement process from start to finish, rotating through the areas of supplier enablement, supplier relationship, and procurement service partnership
Review, place, and follow up on procurement orders
Reconcile items to ensure accuracy of information
Collaborate with other departments at HHMI as well as vendors
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program majoring in supply chain management or another related discipline
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Eagerness to learn, grow professionally, and be mentored
Strong initiative, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills, customer service skills, teamwork skills, analytical skills, and time management skills
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Preferred
Familiarity with Ariba/P2P
