Clinical Faculty, Marketing
The University of St. Thomas is seeking a full-time clinical faculty member for their Marketing Department, beginning in September 2026. The role involves teaching a variety of marketing courses, engaging in service activities, and maintaining professional connections within the marketing field.

Responsibilities
Teaching the equivalent of six full-semester sections at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, in a wide range of courses with topics that include courses in digital marketing, broadly defined
Teaching other marketing courses outside this specialization may also be expected, depending on the ever-evolving needs of the Marketing Department and the programs it serves
Engaging in service that includes activities such as undergraduate advising, and institutional service responsibilities such as committee membership, mentoring other full-time and adjunct faculty, and participation in student recruitment and curriculum development
Ongoing engagement with the marketing profession (e.g., consulting; professional organization activity; industry research; thought leadership)
Qualification
Required
M.B.A. or Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent degree) in an area of marketing or another closely related field
demonstrated ability to teach marketing courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
corporate/industry experience in marketing
demonstrated expertise in areas of digital marketing including but not limited to artificial intelligence, social media marketing, mobile marketing, paid search, digital marketing analytics, and website design and management
excellence in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate students in marketing
a student-centered approach to higher education
engaging in service to the Marketing Department, the Opus College of Business, and the University of St. Thomas
strong promise to contribute to the intellectual and practical lives of students and other stakeholders
commitment to remain current in the field through professional practice, content creation, and engagement with the surrounding business community
commitment to the departmental goal to be a leading center for education and scholarly inquiry into contemporary issues of marketing and business communication
integral role in the Opus College of Business and its mission to develop effective, principled business leaders who think globally, act ethically, and create enduring value for society
