Director of Marketing and Communications
Chicago Methodist Senior Services (CMSS) is a non-profit organization providing services to older adults across Chicagoland. They are seeking a marketing professional to enhance brand awareness and grow programs through strategic marketing and communications efforts.

Responsibilities
Manage the CMSS' website in collaboration with the Web Developer, including making regular updates and improvements to increase web inquiries
Draft, design, coordinate printing, and appropriate distribution of development and marketing materials across the network, for programs, fundraising efforts, outreach, and staff recruitment
Manage CMSS' web presence through social media (including Meta Ads), email, Google Ads, other advertising, and other online sources to promote the organization's brand and increase program interest. Analyze the efficacy of campaigns and efforts
In partnership with leadership, program leads, and web designers, draft, edit, and cultivate engaging and impactful content for CMSS' newsletters, website, blogs, social media, annual video, and annual Impact Reports
Develops, orders, and monitors collateral materials, including promotional items and materials as requested
Works with leadership to coordinate the CMSS Impact Report and distribution to internal and external stakeholders
Monitors progress of initiatives and provides regular analytics and performance reports
Manage design, print, web, photography, and other vendors as needed to complete marketing and collateral projects or requests, including contract negotiations
Work with the Vice President of Development and Marketing to create and oversee the marketing budgets and allocation of resources
Performs market research and competitor analysis to stay abreast of trends, competitor rates, and marketing and fundraising movements
Completes other special projects and duties as assigned
Works closely with the Development team on the annual spring and fall fundraising events to develop the event's theme, electronic and print materials, interactive event webpages, video and PowerPoint presentations, coordination of the Spirit Award recipient and speakers and prepares remarks
Assist the Vice President of Development and Marketing in staffing and supporting the Development and Marketing Committee of the CMSS Board of Directors
Serves as the representative to external parties, such as the media and other public relations stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree (preferably in marketing, communications, or public relations) with demonstrated marketing and communications ability
Minimum of 5+ years of prior marketing and communications experience in a fast-paced work environment
Must have a valid Illinois driver's license, safe driving record, insurance, and reliable vehicle
Preferred
Experience in health care, assisted living, senior housing, or senior services is a plus
