Warehouse and Logistics Manager

Tate is an industry leader in the development and manufacture of data center infrastructure solutions and commercial office raised access floors. They are seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations, establish a new shipping facility, and drive operational excellence across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations across multiple Tate, Inc. facilities and vendor locations
Establish and standardize SOPs, MOPs, safety protocols, and workflow practices to ensure consistent execution across all sites
Lead the setup and operational launch of a new shipping facility, including layout optimization, staffing, and process implementation
Manage receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and storage operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system controls while partnering with procurement and production teams
Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation, manage carrier relationships, negotiate freight rates, and control logistics costs
Monitor logistics and warehouse KPIs such as inventory accuracy, transit time, freight spend, productivity, and delivery performance
Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, address challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Prepare and present operational reports, insights, and improvement recommendations to leadership
Support and lead the implementation of WMS enhancements, ERP integration, and automation opportunities
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all warehouse teams
Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and industry standards through regular audits and training
Lead safety initiatives, incident investigations, and corrective action plans
Champion Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
Travel as required to support multi-site operations and vendor coordination
Adapt to changing business needs and support scalable growth initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of progressive warehouse and logistics management experience, including multi-site oversight
Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control practices, and supply chain processes
Proven leadership ability with experience coaching, developing, and motivating diverse teams
Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse/logistics software tools
Strong understanding of material handling equipment and warehouse safety practices; forklift certification a plus

Preferred

Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S certification
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
