Responsibilities
Design magnetic components for power electronics (1–500 kHz range)
Develop with ferrite, Sendust, powdered iron, and other core materials
Perform simulations and modeling
Optimize designs for efficiency, thermal performance, and manufacturability
Ensure compliance with UL, IEC, and other safety and performance standards
Work with customers to understand requirements and translate into designs
Collaborate on prototyping and cross-functional design reviews
Produce and maintain BOMs, drawings, test plans, and spec sheets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
3+ years of switch-mode power supply or high frequency magnetic design experience
Design and development experience for power electronics
Hands-on prototyping or strong desire to apply theory in practice
Proficiency with 3D modeling tools (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks)
AutoCAD or similar modeling tools : 3 years
Preferred
hands-on prototyping : 1 year
power supply design within 1–500 kHz range : 1 year
