Responsibilities
Customize Windows ARM-based Display software drivers for OEM
Define/explore technical competitiveness of Display SW, including performance, power, and UEFI eDP/DP
Troubleshoot Windows display software, uefi eDP/DP interface, dock or dongle HDMI/DP/type-C issues
Partner with external customers to understand the requirements and assist customers to define proper product spec and plans
Integration, development, and system debugging on OEM designs
Porting LCD driver according OEM specific request/design and in charge of End to End support
Handling customer Q&A, and work closely with internal developers
Provide training to customer and communicate with internal for feature design details
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc
1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques
Preferred
4+ years' experience with C/C++ programming, Experience on embedded HLOS
Experience with Qualcomm display software and familiar with VESA display interfaces, including MIPI, eDP, DP, HDMI, i2c, AUX
Experience with Windows/ACPI is a plus
Experience with Windows WDDM include Graphics/Video/Display/DirectX/DirectML is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Master's degree in EE/CS, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
