Noble House Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Restaurant Host/ess at The Pelican Grand Beach Resort, located on Fort Lauderdale Beach. The role involves greeting customers, managing wait times, seating guests, and assisting with reservations to ensure a friendly and efficient dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet restaurant customers in a quick, efficient and friendly manner

Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods

Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment

Seat guests

Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed

Answer phones and schedule reservations in person as well as on the phone in a friendly manner

Qualification

Professional communicationEnglish proficiencyBasic computational abilityTable service standardsMenu item knowledge

Required

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English

Requires professional communication skills, both verbal and written

Must possess basic computational ability

Knowledge of table service standards

Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware

Ability to describe all menu items and methods of preparation

Must be able to pass a background check

Must be legally allowed to work in the United States

Be available to work a flexible work schedule, to include weekends and holidays
