Responsibilities
Banding and strapping product to skids making sure it secure
Loading and unloading materials onto and off trucks
Operating industrial trucks, sit down forklift, stand up forklift, and cranes
Building skids/ crates (Some Carpentry Required)
Banding I beam and columns in bundles and loading them on flatbed trailers
Some computer skills are required when staging products for shipping and loading
Some outside work unloading pallet trucks and organizing pallet area
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Employees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures
Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Licensed forklift truck operator
Good computer skills
Good verbal communication skills
Good organization skills
Good time management skills
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Ability to read and write English and use basic math
Ability to effectively build relationships with co-workers
Ability to work under pressure with time constraints
Ability to complete assigned training in a timely manner
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Preferred
Experience with inventory/shipping
