The role involves serving as a trusted legal advisor on a broad spectrum of employment law and employment litigation matters impacting a large, national organization.

Counsel employers on federal, state, and local employment law issues

Handle employment litigation matters

Work in the labor and employment practice group of a large firm, a sophisticated labor and employment boutique firm, and/or a large corporate legal department

Required

6+ years of labor and employment experience and some general legal corporate experience

Prior experience counseling employers on labor and employment issues and handling employment litigation matters

Prior experience working in the labor and employment practice group of a large firm, a sophisticated labor and employment boutique firm, and/or a large corporate legal department

Ability to thrive in a large corporate and collaborative setting

Top academic credentials from a well-regarded law school

Licensed and in good standing in Florida or Georgia

Outstanding references

Preferred

Additional exposure to wage and hour compliance, employment agreements, collective bargaining disputes, and unlawful discrimination claims

Prior experience in the labor and employment practice group of a large law firm, a sophisticated boutique, and/or a sizable corporate legal department

Experience working with corporate business, sales, and HR teams—whether as outside counsel or in-house counsel
