Pratt & Whitney is working to transform the future of flight by designing and servicing engines. The Materials Logistics Team Member will ensure smooth shipping operations and manage logistics for engines, operating forklifts and handling materials efficiently.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and box trucks handling a wide range of materials and equipment

Load and unload engine and parts from flatbed trailers

Prepare engines for shipping and loading and unloading

Process shipping and receiving paperwork

Qualification

Forklift operationWarehouse experienceMicrosoft OfficeSAP systemsHeavy load handling

Required

HS Diploma or GED equivalent

2+ years' experience in warehouse or production control environment or within a materials management organization

Experience operating a forklift

Preferred

Experience using Microsoft Office and SAP systems for inventory control and production tracking

Experience moving heavy loads with box trucks and forklifts (up to 30,000 pounds)
