CloudOps Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)
TecAce Software Ltd. is seeking a CloudOps Engineer for an on-site contract-to-hire position. The role involves designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and managing Kubernetes environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure
Automate deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes (K8s) and other container orchestration tools
Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, and security of workloads
Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, or network issues in Kubernetes-based environments
Collaborate with development teams to build CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment
Monitor cloud and Kubernetes environments to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security
Optimize cloud and Kubernetes resource utilization to ensure cost-efficiency and scalability
Manage backups, disaster recovery plans, and high availability configurations for both cloud and Kubernetes environments
Implement and maintain security best practices, including access control, role-based access control (RBAC) in Kubernetes, and data encryption
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency in Korean, suitable for roles requiring bilingual communication
Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure and operations
Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration
Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Preferred
Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Engineer) or Kubernetes (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator - CKA) are a plus
Ability to communicate effectively in Korean for collaboration with Korean-speaking teams or clients
