Responsibilities
Conduct Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) reviews and define submission requirements
Investigate and resolve supplier non-conformances using structured problem-solving tools (8D, 5-Why)
Collaborate with sourcing, engineering, and operations to develop supplier capability
Conduct supplier audits and coach suppliers on corrective actions and continuous improvement
Monitor and report supplier performance metrics
Support cost recovery and supplier development initiatives
Lead supplier audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AAR)
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
Qualification
Required
Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or related)
3-6 years working knowledge of technical aspects of manufacturing and engineering
Experience with manufacturing and production processes and principles
Excellent communication skills
Experience working with internal and external customers
Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft office, Outlook, ERP systems
Statistical analysis and quality assurance skills
Ability to travel up to 50%
Preferred
Experience with CAT production system
Six Sigma Black Belt
Green Belt Certification
Lean manufacturing & APQP experience
Metrology and statistical analysis skills
Bilingual communication skills
