Responsibilities

Be a key contributor to help members in the corporate controllership organization meet deadlines
Assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes
Prepare journal entries, analyze fluctuations in results and reconcile general ledger accounts in accordance with US GAAP
Prepare various reconciliations and analysis of account activity
Produce analyses to support other business functions in management decision making
Assist with quarterly SEC filings as well as internal audit and SOX requests
Provide support for other ad hoc analyses and projects as needed

Required

Enrolled in an accredited US-based university (working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree) with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or Spring 2027
Must be returning to school for at least one quarter or semester after the internship
Have no more than 12 months of professional full-time work experience (excluding internships and research assistant roles)
Must be willing to relocate to Cottonwood Heights, UT and be available to work in the Cottonwood Heights and Sandy offices at a hybrid capacity (2-3x a week)
Proficiency in MS Excel and excellent writing skills
Solid organizational, analytical, and project management skills
A forward-thinking and hands-on approach and a desire to learn
Knowledge of audit principles and financial reporting, balance sheets, income statements

Preferred

Experience in financial services and/or technology industries
Experience with ETL tools and other data transformation tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Snowflake, etc.)
Experience with Accounting ERPs
