Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

Manage the transfer of manufacturing processes between locations, ensuring minimal disruption to production
Create detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones for the transfer process
Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, regulatory, supply planning, procurement, production teams, and suppliers to align objectives and address potential issues
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and product quality
Ensure all processes adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
Track and report on the progress of the transfer project, addressing any deviations from the plan
Resolve any technical or logistical problems that arise during the transfer to avoid delays and maintain production continuity
Prepare documentation and provide training to ensure the receiving location can operate the new processes effectively

Required

Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
At least 5 years' professional work experience in new product development, product transfer in a regulated industry (Med Device preferred)
Experience with medical device manufacturing methods is highly desirable
Strong communication skills for liaising with stakeholders
Ability to manage the transfer of manufacturing processes between locations
Ability to create detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones
Ability to work closely with engineering, quality assurance, regulatory, supply planning, procurement, production teams, and suppliers
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes
Ability to ensure all processes adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
Ability to track and report on the progress of the transfer project
Ability to resolve technical or logistical problems during the transfer
Ability to prepare documentation and provide training for new processes
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to understand, interpret, follow, and improve Inspection, gauging methods and different Quality Systems
Basic knowledge of Operations deliverables/documentation
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Having GD&T knowledge will be beneficial
