Develop and lead initiatives that streamline administrative, research, and academic support processes
Enhance service delivery for students, faculty, researchers, and staff
Promote a culture of continuous improvement
Partner with departments across campus to identify opportunities for greater efficiency, transparency, and alignment with the institution’s strategic priorities
Plan, organize, and implement end-user solutions
Link the campus and IT to drive successful execution

Required

Bachelor's degree
Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field
5 years
Experience in successful initiation and completion of multiple process improvement/IT projects to include budget and resource planning
Microsoft Outlook
Project Management Software
Knowledge of professional project management techniques
Demonstrated competence in Quality Improvement
Demonstrated interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills
Must be able to use expertise of technical and business principles to exceed customer satisfaction and provide a high level of customer service to clients
Be willing to work effectively and efficiently to achieve, maintain and grow technical knowledge, skills and abilities by reading technical manuals and attending training sessions and conferences
Ability to maintain strong security and confidentiality requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to express information (ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively and making clear and convincing oral presentations
Experience working in both isolated and collaborative environments with the ability to take initiative and exercise sound judgment to accomplish professional IT functions and objectives
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and stringent timelines
Strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills required
Experience making quick and independent decisions based on in-depth analysis of University of Nebraska Medical Center
Strong Vendor and End-User Relationship management
Ability to manage multiple IT projects from initiation to completion
Strong client experience focus
Knowledge of methodologies from agile, scrum, kanban, six sigma and lean
