Responsibilities

Process invoices, expense reimbursements, and vendor payments accurately and on time
Maintain organized documentation and ensure correct coding and approvals
Manage billing, payment posting, and student financial transactions
Monitor aging reports and support collections follow-up as needed
Maintain accuracy of financial data across accounting and student information systems
Perform reconciliations, audits, and data cleanups to ensure consistent reporting
Help streamline workflows and documentation for greater efficiency
Support automation of recurring reports and financial processes
Assist with software transitions, system integrations, and finance-related projects

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree (accounting, finance, or business preferred)
At least 2 years of professional accounting or finance experience, preferably within higher education
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (formulas, reconciliations, basic analysis)
Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and comfort performing high-volume data entry
Ability to work independently with consistent follow-through and urgency

Preferred

Experience in higher education financial operations
Familiarity with billing systems, student information systems, or financial aid processes
VA Certifying Official or financial aid–related certification
