Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to transform designs into functional components
Ensure components are optimized for performance and compatibility
Attend daily stand-ups to align with the team
Code reusable, accessible, and adaptable UI components
Conduct accessibility tests to meet WCAG standards
Update documentation with usage guidelines and examples
Review implementations to ensure they align with the design system consistently
Plan and prioritize next steps to improve scalability and user experience
Qualification
Required
College degree or equivalent experience is vital
5+ years of proven experience in UI development
Proven expertise in developing and maintaining design systems
Experience with various front-end frameworks and development tools
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Ability to implement WCAG accessibility standards
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience preferred
Proficiency in tools like Storybook and Figma
