Scheduling Services Epic Analyst, Assoc - Quantum One
UPMC is hiring a Full-Time Scheduling Services Epic Analyst, Associate to support Scheduling Services Quantum One. The role involves ensuring a patient-centric experience through the analysis of data and implementation of technology solutions related to business operations within Scheduling Services.

Responsibilities
Provide a World Class patient experience, focusing on Service Excellence and one contact resolution with each and every patient interaction
Assists with application support including basic design and analysis, application configuration, testing, system documentation, and training, as needed
Provide Epic Cadence support for all Physician Division Scheduling services including template design and Decision Tree build
Participates in the build, rollout, and support of the assigned application, acting as first-level response for the assigned application(s) by communicating with end users of the system to understand issues and implement solutions
Update Epic Analyst Lead on a timely basis regarding progress on assigned tasks, projects, and issues via written and / or oral reports
Participate in training and collaborate with end users, acting as a liaison with department appointed Cadence team for training and coordination of all processes
Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives, including participation in weekly project team meetings
Protect the integrity and confidentiality of all data and information through physical and electronic measures
Assist with the evaluation and documentation of client needs, and all aspects of business processes both operational and financial, including current process analysis and proposed revisions to optimize business processes
Assist with the development of information technology solutions in component based, custom development and/or package system environments
Ensure quality of information technology solutions through business case and application-level testing; validates test results to initial business needs
Design and document system level and end user level procedures to support business applications
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of relevant business experience
OR High School Diploma / GED with 2 years of relevant experience required
Good oral and written communication skills are required
Extensive related experience will be considered
Service Excellence as a way of thinking and the attitude that is portrayed
Ability to help others embrace the spirit of service
Leadership skills to manage and motivate team members to provide a high level of service excellence
Proven success in finding innovative solutions to enhance the patient experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment a must
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, and forge strong interpersonal relationships within the department, with other departments, and with external audiences

Experience With Epic Template And Decision Trees
Strong computer skills with expert knowledge in Word, Excel and EpicCare/eRecord
