Responsibilities

Direct all day-to-day production activities within the Centralia facility to meet established performance targets for safety, quality, delivery, and cost

Oversee fabrication, assembly, and related operations to ensure consistent, efficient, and high-quality output

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), performance metrics, and production reporting systems

Collaborate with the Portland site and corporate leadership to align production practices, capacity, and priorities

Lead by example to ensure a zero-incident safety culture and full compliance with OSHA and company safety standards

Reinforce adherence to quality processes, inspection standards, and documentation requirements

Partner with Quality Assurance to identify and eliminate root causes of defects, nonconformances, and warranty issues

Ensure all operations comply with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations

Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste

Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), throughput, on-time delivery, and scrap

Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve equipment reliability

Support capital project planning and implementation to upgrade or expand production capability

Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors, team leads, and production staff to build a skilled, engaged, and accountable workforce

Promote Rogers’ culture of professionalism, teamwork, and respect

Partner with HR on recruiting, training, and performance management to support production goals and employee development

Foster an environment that values communication, recognition, and continuous learning

Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure material availability and production readiness

Partner with Engineering on process improvements, product manufacturability, and equipment optimization

Coordinate with Quality, Finance, and Senior Manufacturing Leadership to ensure alignment with company-wide objectives and reporting standards
