Responsibilities
Assist the Activities Director in all aspects of the activities program
Implement the current activities schedule
Assist bed-bound residents with one-to-one activities
Provide facility craft supplies and materials to residents and assist with activities
Assist in identifying and monitoring the spiritual, social, recreational, and emotional needs of residents through routine interviews and visits
Qualification
Required
Artistic creativity
Appreciation for musical activities
Confidence in developing engaging programs for residents
Assist the Activities Director in all aspects of the activities program
Implement the current activities schedule
Assist bed-bound residents with one-to-one activities
Provide facility craft supplies and materials to residents and assist with activities
Assist in identifying and monitoring the spiritual, social, recreational, and emotional needs of residents through routine interviews and visits
Preferred
Prior recreation or activities experience leading programs for the geriatric or other populations
General experience working with the elderly population
