Account Manager – Automotive Software Sales -$65,000-$75,000
Insequence Corporation is a well-established software development company providing solutions for manufacturing and logistics companies. They are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to lead client relationships and drive software sales within the automotive sector, focusing on delivering software solutions to OEMs and suppliers.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for automotive clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships
Develop a deep understanding of client business models, strategic goals, pain points and needs
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts
Work with the Sales Engineer and the customer to determine the best fit for our solutions
Collaborate with each customer to create tailored account development plans, securing customer approval to ensure a deep understanding of their business objectives and strategic direction
Facilitate and lead quarterly business reviews
Expand stakeholder engagement within each account and develop a multi-touchpoint communication strategy per account
Negotiate contracts and pricing
Drive to improve the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth
Drive revenue through upsell and cross-sell initiatives across Insequence’s portfolio
Monitor account health, usage metrics, and renewal cycles to ensure retention and expansion
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound and inbound channels
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from first contact to close
Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and challenges
Present Insequence’s services clearly and confidently to decision-makers
Stay informed on market dynamics, automotive trends, and regulatory shifts that shape the industry
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution from pre-sales to delivery
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in B2B software sales, preferably within the automotive industry
A BA/BS or higher from an accredited college or university
Business software experience including CRM and Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Outlook, Excel, Monday, Visio etc
A valid driver's license and the ability to get a passport
The ability to pass a background and drug test
Strong team culture and ethics
Strong understanding of automotive business models and digital ecosystems
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
Preferred
Recent and relevant B2B sales experience ideally selling Software Solutions in the automotive sector and logistics sector
Strong commercial acumen
Multilingual capabilities or international sales experience is a plus
