Responsibilities
Test Development: Design and develop test plans and procedures for ICs, including defining test methodologies and creating test programs
Test Execution: Perform functional tests and characterization on ICs using custom-built test stations and other tools to assess performance, functionality, and reliability
Data Analysis: Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues. Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on findings
Debugging: Troubleshoot and debug test failures, working closely with in-house design and process engineering teams to resolve issues
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test procedures, results, and corrective actions
Qualification
Required
B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field, with thesis work and/or relevant industry experience in mm-wave IC characterization
2-5+ years of Experience in RF Characterization of active and passive components (e.g. Reflection Coefficient, Matching, TOI, P1dB, Noise Figure, etc.)
Expertise using test and measurement equipment (e.g. a network analyzer, signal source, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
Wafer probe calibration and measurements of integrated circuits
Software development (C++/.NET)
Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, time management and communication skills to work in dynamic environment as part of multiple teams working on multiple projects
Be highly motivated to accomplish all the tasks required to meet aggressive product development schedules and world class manufacturing expectations
Ability to work in a leadership/lead role
Preferred
Expertise in automating electrical test
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in IC testing
Knowledge in Semiconductor device physics/manufacturing processes
Expertise in RF and analog integrated circuit design and analysis
Knowledge in statistical analysis and process improvement
Experience programming in C#, .NET, and Visual Studio
Experience in PCB board design
Experience in using the following tools or equivalent: ADS
