Responsibilities

Passion for growth and the desire to build the engineering depth and capability required to expand Invio Automation suite of solutions and market penetration in the AGV segment
Operational and engineering technical depth (education and experience) to lead the implementation of engineering designs and standards across Invio Automation suite of solutions
Hands-on experience or technical acumen to absorb assembly, material processing, forming and fabrication process’s machining, and materials
Capable of managing several priorities with both internal and external customers. Demonstrating exceptional customer service and responsiveness with a collaborative can do approach
Ability to self educate on new customer requirements, component level needs to solve technical issues or work collaboratively with suppliers to optimize AGV hardware for form fit and performance (speed, payload, ergo )
Must be able to communicate effectively with employees, colleagues and customers both orally and written
Ability to adhere to a timeline or customer delivery expectations while understanding emergence of new information and minor changes in customer requirements which may require engineering changes and refinement of design solutions
Understand customer needs, apply technical knowledge to identify process requirements or shortcomings, recommend and implement custom engineered solutions
The ability to recall past solutions internal or external to help solve a customers needs
Possesses proactive behavior, takes initiative, seeks continuous improvement
Demonstrate engineering and intrapersonal professionalism in all activities and provide efficient service to internal / external customers

Required

A four year degree in design, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, industrial engineering or a related field
At least 10 years of related experience
At least five years of mechanical 3D solid modeling experience and proficiency in Solidworks
Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business technical procedures
Ability to write recommendations, effectively present information in PPT format and respond to questions from management and customers (internal/external)
Ability to solve problems and manage a variety of diverse engineering challenges
Ability to interpret instructions / customer specifications furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, improve or create processes
Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical controls drawings
Ability to model ergo lift assists, part touching nesting fixtures, Automated interactive assist tooling. Multi spindle Secure tools
Basic understanding of machining tools and common machining practices
Basic understanding of welding, forming and fabrication and fixturing
Materials knowledge for steels, aluminum, plastics and rubber materials
Strong working knowledge of GD&T principles relative to assembly and detailed engineering drawings
Working knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
Proven organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office Programs)
Strong presentation skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work well under pressure and to remain flexible to changing schedules and demands
Occasional travel to customer sites, for site evaluation / line up meetings <15% of the time

Preferred
