Responsibilities
Interpret mechanical drawings
Knowledge of Mitsubishi Lasers (model ML2030D or ML3015LVP is a plus)
Knowledge of laser set-up, condition choice, nozzle and focus adjustment
Conduct cutting using proper gas selection
Select proper thickness and type of material from proper material rack
Load material onto laser bed
Inspect work using blueprints and precision measuring tools
Perform process inspection and documentation
Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean working environment
Maintain laser and punch equipment as required
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years experience
Ability to work flexible hours to support overtime requirements
Able to work and produce effectively with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization
Ability to work as a team member
Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift
Operate over-head crane and vacuum lift as required
In house certify and operate forklift as required
Able to lift 25 pounds consistently without assistance, 75 pounds occasionally with assistance
Repetitive wrist, elbow and arm movement continuously throughout the workday
Preferred
