Cold Caller / Business Development Representative (BDR)
SymTec is a Managed IT Services provider that helps growing businesses run a stable, secure, and functional IT environment. They are seeking an energetic Cold Caller / Business Development Representative (BDR) to start conversations with business decision-makers and book qualified meetings for their sales team.

Responsibilities
Make a high volume of outbound calls daily (primarily cold calls)
Speak with owners, office managers, and leaders at small to mid-sized businesses
Use short, buyer-focused conversations to uncover pain, priorities, and timing
Handle pushback calmly and professionally (no arguing, no “hard sell”)
Schedule qualified discovery appointments
Log call notes and outcomes in our CRM
Improve fast through coaching, call reviews, and repetition
Qualification
Required
Conversational: can engage in real dialogue without freezing
Adaptable: adjusts tone, pacing, and direction in real time
Resilient: can hear 'no' repeatedly without confidence collapsing
Coach-able: takes feedback without defensiveness and corrects quickly
Sharp learner: grasps concepts fast and applies them under pressure
Stay calm when conversations get tense or uncomfortable
Can think while you speak (and listen more than you talk)
Want honest coaching and aren't afraid of direct feedback
Prefer building skill over 'confidence theater'

No prior BDR experience required (we'll train the right person)
Customer-facing roles, athletics, leadership, hospitality, or any environment requiring discipline and composure is a plus
