ASSYST is seeking a Sr. Cloud Architect to lead the migration of over 100 mission-critical applications to the Government Cloud. The role involves architecting the transformation of a complex legacy system into a secure, FedRAMP High-compliant cloud environment while leading a team of engineers and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy a secure Hub-and-Spoke Landing Zone topology that meets FedRAMP High requirements, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep)

Lead the technical execution of the "Wave" migration strategy, managing parallel tracks for rapid Windows/Linux rehosting and complex AIX/Solaris refactoring

Develop strategies for migrating legacy Power workloads (AIX/Solaris), determining the optimal path between Emulation (e.g., Skytap) and Refactoring to Linux

Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps) to automate security gates (SAST/DAST) and continuous compliance reporting

Act as the primary technical liaison with Government application owners, guiding them through the "Shared Responsibility Model" and ensuring zero-downtime cutovers

Required
