Engineering - Construction Project Manager

Taney County Partnership is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead capital improvement projects impacting the city. The role involves overseeing construction projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and compliance, managing costs and contracts, and maintaining hands-on involvement at job sites.

Responsibilities

Lead Construction Projects – Oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget
Ensure Quality & Compliance – Inspect contractor work for adherence to standards in street, bridge, sewer, water, and municipal infrastructure projects
Manage Costs & Contracts – Estimate project costs, review bids, negotiate change orders, and track budgets
Stay Hands-On – Visit job sites, monitor progress, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in every phase of construction

Required

Graduation from an accredited technical school program or a college or university with an Associate of Technology degree in Civil Technology
Six (6) years of directly related work experience may be substituted for formal education as determined by the Department Director
Three (3) years of experience in the construction of streets, heavy highway construction, building construction, evaluation, material sampling, repair, rehabilitation, or inspection
Possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position
Possess a valid Class B CDL license or obtain within twelve (12) months of start date. (A passing grade on the written portion of the Class A or B CDL exam is required before start date.)
Possess or be able to obtain certification as a Work Zone Safety and Traffic Signal Technician within twelve (12) months of start date
Be willing to work snow routes that include 12-hour shifts during the months of November through March
Be able to pass a background investigation and drug and alcohol screenings
