Identifies patient and family education needs and in collaboration with other disciplines initiates education needs according to the age of the patient

Participates in departmental and hospital improvement plan

Functions as a positive role model for peers and promotes a professional image of Iberia Medical Center

Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of patient and organizational data

Consistently lives by Iberia Medical Centers Standards of Performance

Adheres to the Patient Safety Goals

Safely transports and notifies staff of inpatient admits brought to assigned rooms

Correctly enters all patients in the ER logbook

Collects urine, stool, sputum specimens and transports to lab

Restocks/cleans ER rooms

Assists staff with computer order entry

Assists patients with eating, mobility, dressing, and toileting

Assists staff with obtaining and recording vital signs
