Responsibilities
Member Engagement: Act as the face of the Cooperative, assisting members via phone, email, and in person with a professional and helpful demeanor
Account Management: Process service requests (connections, disconnects, meter changes) and maintain accurate digital records and Electric Service Agreements
Financial Transactions: Securely process payments, manage and balance cash drawers, and prepare daily deposits
Operational Support: Support administrative tasks including report compilation, easement recording, and inventory management
Promotion: Educate members on available services, promotional programs, and account options
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
2+ years in an office or customer service environment (or 2 years of college in lieu of experience)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 10-key
Excellent communication (especially under difficult circumstances)
Ability to prioritize changing workloads
Strong team-player mindset
Must maintain annual certifications in First-Aid, CPR, and Fire Extinguisher safety (training provided)
Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License and be willing to travel within our 17-county service territory as needed
Ability to work overtime during emergency conditions or as the job warrants
Preferred
Associate's degree preferred
Experience with iVUE or CIS systems is a major plus
Bilingual skills are highly preferred
