Responsibilities

Lead and manage the technical aspects of the project, ensuring alignment with program goals and engineering standards
Supervise a team of Electrical Engineers as direct reports, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations
Ensure the integrity and performance of electronic assemblies through rigorous testing and validation processes
Drive the execution of engineering processes, including design, development, prototyping, and testing
Plan and allocate engineering resources effectively to meet project milestones and deliverables
Coordinate efforts across Cognizant Engineers and supporting organizations to ensure seamless technical integration within the project
Oversee the project budget, manage costs, and ensure that the project remains within financial constraints. Track and report on financial performance and implement cost-saving measures as needed
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
10 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in project engineering, preferably in aerospace or defense industries
Proven experience in developing electronic systems, ideally with a focus on space-grade hardware
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with Cost-Account Management and budget oversight
Strong understanding of engineering principles, design processes, and testing methodologies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Classified Information Statement – This position requires applicant to have an active security clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information
