This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, accurate, and timely execution of switching activities across the electrical distribution system.

Responsibilities
Write and prepare detailed switching procedures and switch plans
Coordinate closely with the control center to ensure plans are accurate and executable
Review upcoming switching needs for the next half-day to several days
Distribute switch plans for review and collaborate with stakeholders to obtain approval
Once approved, ensure switch plans are properly scheduled
Hand off finalized plans to the control center and provide follow-up support
Respond to questions or clarification requests from the control center as needed
Collaborate with a small, cross-functional internal team to support daily operations
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Strong familiarity with electrical distribution systems
5+ years of experience as a Trouble Man and/or Lineman
Proven ability to coordinate, schedule, and work effectively with multiple teams
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced operational environment
Preferred
Experience with Oracle NMS
