Responsibilities

Plan, design, and execute land development projects including site layout, grading, utility design, and permitting across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, industrial, warehousing, retail and public infrastructure

Design stormwater management systems that align with environmental and regulatory requirements

Lead preparation of due diligence/feasibility studies, construction documents, engineering reports, and regulatory submissions

Resolve engineering challenges and ensure technical accuracy throughout the project lifecycle

Follow projects through construction phase including field observation, shop drawing reviews, resolve field issues

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and municipal/public reviewers throughout all project phases

Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues or challenges that arise during the lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery

Support project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining high-quality standards

Mentor junior engineers and assist in the development of technical skills across project teams

Attend client meetings and conduct site visits as needed

Stay current on NY regulatory guidelines and contribute to permitting strategy
