Responsibilities
Leading a team of software engineers, coordinating with other subsystem team and program leadership, splitting time between technical and leadership tasks
Planning, conducting, and coordinating software development activities for a command and control software system
Engaging with Systems Engineering organization to decompose and allocate requirements, perform verification and validation, and support system integration
Applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. This will include facilitating an Agile workflow and supporting major program milestone events (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR) from initial design through final delivery of a product
Ensures software standards are met in conjunction with Horizon Product leadership
Support to an international customer with ability to work a dynamic flexible work schedule
Qualification
Required

Experience working with an International customer
Experience with Command and Control Systems
Experience with Cloud environments
Experience integrating software components via machine-to-machine interfaces (e.g., RESTful APIs, ActiveMQ, etc.)
Understanding / proficiency in application containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Experience with test automation and continuous integration and deployment
Strong background developing / debugging and/or testing of web applications and web services
Experience with Elastic Search, Kibana, Logstash (ELK stack)
Demonstrated experience working in Agile teams leveraging Scrum, Kanban or other methodologies and/or understanding of Agile development concepts
