Responsibilities

Service and repair generators: change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, check spark plugs, etc
Perform on-site planned maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and troubleshooting for customers generators (includes DC & AC Voltage equipment)
Work independently or with a small team and company vehicle servicing residential and commercial standby generators
Involves multiple appointments per day in regular contact with homeowners

Qualification

Generator maintenanceMechanical experienceTechnical knowledgeDiagnostic skillsMicrosoft 365Reading technical documentsTeamwork

Required

3+ years of experience in a mechanical setting working on automobiles, small engines, or generators
Valid driver's license
Technical knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft 365
Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and service manual
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and work outside
