Fuel Compliance Technician

OWL Services is seeking a Compliance Fuel Technician to perform duties related to fuel systems integrity testing at various fueling facilities. The role involves prepping sites for testing, conducting various fuel containment tests, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepping the site for testing

Setting up testing and safety equipment

Removal of manhole lids for underground storage tank access

Driving a DOT registered commercial motor vehicle

Performs a variety of fuel containment tests, equipment integrity tests, and leak-detection tests to detect leaks or to prevent future leaks due to non-compliance or equipment failure

Qualification

Mechanical backgroundBasic technology knowledgeHand toolsEffective communicationIndependent work ability

Required

Must be able to pass a company paid DOT physical & drug screen and possess a clean driving record

Physical capability: lifting 10-50lbs, kneeling, bending, handling, reaching, and standing

Independent work ability and effective communication skills

Preferred

Mechanical background, experience with hand tools, and trades or industrial/commercial settings are a plus

Basic technology knowledge for documentation
